If there’s one thing I KNOW right now, it’s that you’re thirsty. I would bet my bottom apple on it. Because we all are, because it’s too darn HOOOOOOT ! (Not complaining, promise). And your skin and brain and even your toes are probably thirsty too, because we just don’t hydrate enough…
We discussed how to make sure you drink enough water a couple of months ago and today I’m offering an alternative. This “mid Summer’s juice” is called that because it is the ideal mixture for fighting that constant feel of thirst. It is perfectly quenching and endlessly tasty – I think it’s ideal as a desk-top-thirst-stopper as well as for an evening virgin cocktail. All you need to whip a glass of this together is ice, apple juice (freshly juiced if you can!), a few pieces of lemon, squeezed over your glass and then dunked in the juice and a good sprig of mint.
