It’s always nice to have something to throw over your swimming costume or shorts after a hot day at the beach. Here on Ile de Ré it’s been scorching so I went for a cool cotton top in a trendy lemon colour. I’d had this tee-shirt for a while but it just seemed a bit too long and too much like a pyjama top – after a snip here and a snip there, I have a brand new marine cover-up !

C’est toujours pratique d’avoir un top large à enfiler par dessus le maillot ou short après une longue journée à la plage. Ici sur l’Ile de Ré il fait une chaleur incroyable alors j’ai choisi un top en coton léger à la couleur du moment ! Le tee-shirt je l’avais depuis un moment mais il faisait bien trop pyjama pour être porté ailleurs que sur mon canap’. Après un coup de ciseaux par ci, par là – une nouvelle marinière est née !

Do it yourself : / Toi-même tu sais faire :

1 : Cut your tee-shirt diagonally towards one side

/ Couper le tee-shirt en diagonal pour créer une pointe sur un côté

2 : Slit the longer side of the top up the seam (approx 15-20cm)

/ Couper le long de la couture du côté pointu (sur 15-20cm)

3 : Tie a knot to one side

/ Nouer le côté coupé
