This is a tricky DIY but also a quick one if you get your head / fingers around it. You probably have all you need at home already, i.e. a couple of hoodie strings or any other rope or string. String necklaces are extremely popular this season and there are so many different types you can make yourself in no time. I can easily say I ♥ this one – for obvious reasons !
Voilà un tutorial un peu complexe en apparence mais en réalité rapide et simple. Vous avez certainement déjà tout ce qu’il vous faut chez vous, c’est à dire de la ficelle ou des lacets de pull à capuche. Les colliers en ficelle sont très populaires cette saison et sans avoir une formation de marin on peut facilement réaliser de nombreux accessoires chez soi.

A few extra tips / Quelques astuces supplémentaires :
- Just tie the laces at the back of your neck and cut off any extra string
/ Nouez les ficelles derrière le cou et couper le surplus
- Choose light dark coloured string for a nice contrast
/ Choisissez une couleur de ficelle foncée et une claire pour avoir un joli contrast
- Use the two pieces of string as ONE
/ Utilisez les deux bouts de ficelle ensemble, comme UN seul et même lacet
- Keep the laces flat for a nice flat knot and best colour contrast effect
/ Gardez les ficelles plates pour un noeud bien plat et un contrast réussi
- If your final knot doesn’t look too much like a heart however well you followed these steps, just have a tug around at it, you’ll get there !
/ Si votre noeud ne ressemble pas à un coeur malgré votre soin à suivre ces quelques pas, tirez-le un peu dans tous les sens, il prendra forme tôt ou tard !
